A Doctor of Chiropractic or a Chiropractor, diagnoses and treats patients whose health problems are associated with the body's muscular, nervous, and skeletal systems, especially the spine and extremities.
Many chiropractors primarily manually manipulate/adjust the spine and extremity joints to treat the structures. They may also use other various modalities such as cupping, tape, laser, ice, massage, ultrasound, and electric stimulation to address the patient's symptoms.

Unlike medical doctors, chiropractic doctors do not prescribe medications. Chiropractors go through a four year chiropractic school to receive a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Dr. Christine Lee was born and raised in the Washington, DC/Northern Virginia area. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology from East Carolina University, she moved to Northern California in 1997. Over the next 25 years, she earned her doctorate from Life Chiropractic College, built a successful practice, and started her family. Through years of experience, she developed a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care grounded in both clinical excellence and genuine connection.

Now based in the Chapel Hill area, Dr. Lee operates a mobile chiropractic practice serving patients throughout the Triangle. This allows her to provide high-quality, individualized care in a comfortable and convenient setting. She is committed to meeting patients where they are—both literally and figuratively—and believes that long-term, trusted relationships are the foundation of effective care.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Lee is actively involved in the community and volunteers with Tiger Rescue in Pittsboro. She lives with her husband, their 16-year-old son, and their pets—a cat and a tortoise—and is grateful to be back in North Carolina, caring for the community she is proud to call home.
